Texada Equipment CRM review: a sales CRM built for dealers
A plain-English look at Texada Equipment CRM (formerly SalesLink): what it does, who it fits, and what to ask in a demo.

What it is
Texada Equipment CRM is a sales CRM for equipment dealers. CRM means customer relationship management: the system that remembers every lead, call, quote, and promise. This product is not a full dealer management system. It does not run your parts counter or your books. It runs your sales follow-up, and it is built to sit next to a DMS, not replace one.
The SalesLink history
This product was formerly called SalesLink. If you find older articles or forum posts about SalesLink, they are about this product family. Texada's own help files now document it as Equipment CRM, with named screens for accounts, opportunities, and activities. Named, public help screens are a good sign: the product is documented, not just marketed.
What the vendor says it does
Texada's product page and help files describe account and opportunity views, activity logging, mobile access, and customer records that include equipment-related data. In plain words: a rep can see who the customer is, what they own, what they were quoted, and what happens next, from a phone or a desk.
Who uses it
Texada's CRM Core page highlights Ohio Cat. That is a vendor-published customer reference, not our own check, and Ohio Cat is a large operation. Other Texada-family customer lists cover different Texada products, so do not treat them as CRM installations. Ask Texada for a CRM reference dealer near your size and call them.
Where to be careful
- No public price was found on the pages we checked on 2026-11-05. Ask for a written quote.
- This is a sales CRM. Do not assume it includes quoting, invoicing, or service tools unless the vendor confirms each one.
- Texada also sells iQuote and ServiceLink. Those are separate products. Do not merge their features into the CRM without proof.
- We did not test a private account. This guide is from public documents only.
Which dealers it fits
Based on the public pages, Equipment CRM fits a dealer whose sales follow-up is the weak link: leads in inboxes, quotes in notebooks, no manager view of the pipeline. If your pain is parts, service, or accounting, a CRM alone will not fix it. If your pain is that buyers slip away because nobody called back, this product category is aimed squarely at you.
A realistic demo scenario
Suggested demo test: bring one real customer and one real unit. Have the vendor create the account, log a call, open an opportunity for the unit, and set a follow-up reminder, all from a phone. Then ask a manager view: every open opportunity, its age, and its next step. If any of that needs a spreadsheet, you learned something the brochure will not tell you.
Cost questions to bring
No public price was found on the pages we checked on 2026-11-05. Ask for a line-item quote: per-user monthly cost, setup, data migration, training, and any charge for connecting the CRM to your DMS. Ask whether the price changes as you add reps, because a sales tool's cost grows with the team.
Our honest take
Texada Equipment CRM has something many sales tools lack: public, named help screens you can read before you ever talk to a salesperson. The Ohio Cat reference shows a real, sizable user. The open questions are price, DMS connection depth for your exact system, and how much of what you saw belongs to sibling products like iQuote. If follow-up is your leak, it belongs on the demo list. Run the phone-first scenario above and judge what you see. One more tip: because the help site is public, have your sales manager read the customer-record article before the demo. A demo where your team already knows the screen names is a demo that answers your questions instead of the vendor's.
