Texada Equipment CRM sales reporting
The sales reports a dealer should expect from a CRM: pipeline value, follow-up gaps, won and lost reasons, and rep activity.

Reports that run a sales team
A CRM earns its keep in the Monday meeting. Can you see pipeline value by rep, quotes by age, won and lost reasons, and who has not logged a call this week? Those four views run a sales floor. Ask to see each one built live in the demo.
The lost-reason report
The most valuable sales report is the one nobody wants to read: why deals died. Price, timing, financing, or a competitor. If reps do not log a reason, the report lies. Ask how the system nudges or requires a lost reason before a deal can be closed out.
What to ask
- Which sales reports come standard?
- Can I build my own report without a support ticket?
- Can a report email itself to me every Monday?
- Can I see activity per rep, not just results?
- Can I export to Excel when I need to?
The rekeying audit
If you build your Monday sales report by hand from notebooks and inboxes, count that time. Hours per month times the loaded hourly cost is real money. Use the tool below. A CRM's reports should make that labor go away.
A worked task: replace the Monday roundup
Suggested exercise: if your Monday sales meeting starts with reps reading from notebooks, time it. Inputs: one meeting. Expected output: a number of minutes spent just collecting status. Suggested demo test: ask the vendor to show the same meeting run from the pipeline screen — every deal, its age, its next step. The exception to watch: reports only work if reps log activity, so ask what the screen looks like when they do not. An honest system shows the gaps.
Do this week
Write the three numbers you wish you had every Monday without asking anyone. Those are the first three reports to build in the demo.
| Report | Question it answers |
|---|---|
| Pipeline by rep | Who is carrying the month? |
| Quotes by age | Who is not following up? |
| Won and lost reasons | Why do we really lose? |
| Activity per rep | Who is doing the work? |
