NetView ECO parts inventory
How parts inventory works in a web-native dealer system: shared stock across branches, reordering, and the rekeying audit.
Based on public product documentation. We have not tested a private account. Sources checked 2026-11-05. Product names belong to their owners; this is an independent guide, not an endorsement.

Parts pays the bills
Machines get the glory. Parts pays the bills. A good parts system knows what you have, what you sold, what to reorder, and where every part sits across your branches. HBS lists parts as a core NetView ECO department, connected to the rest of the store.
What to test in the demo
- Look up a part by number and by description.
- See on-hand, on-order, and sold-this-year counts per branch.
- Build a transfer between branches.
- Build a reorder list from sales history.
- Find dead stock: parts with no sales in a year.
The rekeying audit
If your parts people type orders into the DMS and then again into a factory or supplier website, count it. Orders per month times minutes each is real labor. Use the tool below to put dollars on it. That number tells you what a real parts integration is worth.
Honest limit
Public pages list parts as a connected department but do not detail every supplier connection. Get the list for your brands in writing before you sign.
A worked task: one part, every branch
Suggested demo test: pick a fast-moving filter and show its on-hand count at every branch on one screen, then build a transfer to the branch that needs it. Inputs: one part number. Expected output: group-wide visibility and a system-tracked transfer. The exception to ask about: when the system should tell you to buy instead of transfer. Freight and handling can eat the savings on cheap parts, so ask how the system weighs that.
Do this week
Count how often one branch ordered a part another branch had. Even a rough count tells you what shared stock visibility is worth.
| Number | What it tells you |
|---|---|
| Fill rate | How often the part is on the shelf when needed |
| Turns | How fast parts dollars cycle |
| Dead stock | Parts with no sales in a year |
| Transfers | Parts moved between branches instead of bought |
| Emergency orders | Rush orders that cost extra freight |
Rekeying cost tool
Count the records your team types twice each month. Entered numbers only; illustrative defaults.
| Hours re-typing per month | 6.0 |
