NetView ECO OEM integrations
What OEM connections mean for parts and warranty, what HBS publishes, and the questions that separate real pipes from buzzwords.

What an OEM connection is
OEM means original equipment manufacturer — the factory that built the machine. An OEM connection is a pipe between your DMS and the factory. Through it can flow parts orders, price updates, stock checks, and warranty claims. Each pipe removes re-typing.
What HBS publishes
HBS describes NetView ECO as connecting dealership departments and highlights APIs on its product page. Public pages we checked on 2026-11-05 do not publish a full OEM partner list. That means you must get the specific list for your brands in writing.
Real pipe versus buzzword
We integrate can mean three very different things: a nightly file, a live connection, or we will build it for a fee. HBS highlights APIs, so ask which of your brands and tools have a ready pipe and which would use the API with custom work. A nightly price file is fine for prices. It is not fine for live factory stock.
Questions for the demo
- Which of our brands connect for parts ordering?
- Which connect for warranty claims?
- Is each connection live or a nightly file?
- Is there an API for tools we already use?
- Who maintains the pipe when the factory changes its side?
The rekeying audit
Count the double-typing across every branch today. Orders typed twice, customer data typed into financing forms, numbers typed into spreadsheets. Multiply by your branch count, then use the tool below to put dollars on it. That is the budget a real integration has to beat.
A worked task: the API question, in plain words
HBS highlights APIs on its product page. An API is a door other software can use to talk to the system. Suggested exercise: list the tools you would keep — website, financing partner, marketing — and ask which can use that door today. Expected output: a yes or no per tool, in writing. The exception to ask about: who maintains the connection when the other side changes. A door nobody maintains is a wall.
Do this week
Write down every place your team re-types data between systems. Each one is a candidate pipe, and the list is your integration agenda for the demo.
| Type | What it means | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Manual export | You download and upload files | Rare, low-volume tasks |
| Nightly file | Data syncs once a day | Price lists, catalogs |
| Live connection | Data moves when things happen | Stock checks, orders, claims |
| Built-in module | No pipe needed, same system | Anything inside the DMS |
Rekeying cost tool
Count the records your team types twice each month. Entered numbers only; illustrative defaults.
| Hours re-typing per month | 6.0 |
| Labor value of that time | $180 |
| Monthly total (labor + software) | $380 |
| Scenario cost per funded dealRe-typing labor plus the software cost you entered only. Not your full cost to close a deal. | $38.00 |
