CustomerTRAX explained: Handle's place in the Texada family
Handle CRM is tied to CustomerTRAX in the Texada family. What that means, what changed, and what to ask.
Based on public product documentation. We have not tested a private account. Sources checked 2026-11-05. Product names belong to their owners; this is an independent guide, not an endorsement.

The family tree, in plain words
Handle CRM is a dealer follow-up tool. CustomerTRAX is the customer-data product it is tied to. Texada is the company that now owns the family. A merger announcement on Texada's help site covers the change. When you read old articles, check which name and which date you are looking at.
Why ownership matters to a buyer
When a product changes owners, three things can change with it: the price, the support team, and the product plan. None of those is automatically bad. Bigger owners can invest more. But ask each question directly, and get the answers in writing before you sign.
What to ask
- Is Handle being sold as its own product or as part of a Texada package?
- Will our data stay in the same system after the merger?
- Who do we call for support now?
- Is the product still being developed, and what is on the roadmap?
- What happened to existing customers' contracts?
Do this week
If you already know a dealer who used Handle before the merger, call them. Ask what changed for them: price, support, product. One honest answer from a current user is worth more than any announcement.
A worked task: the three-name check
Handle, CustomerTRAX, and Texada all appear in this product's story. Suggested exercise: when you read any article or quote, note which name it uses and when it was written. Inputs: your research notes. Expected output: no confusion about what you are buying. The exception that matters most: handle.com is a construction payments company with the same first name. If an article mentions liens or payment paperwork, you are reading about the wrong product.
Do this week
Ask the vendor one direct question: what is the product called on the contract we would sign? The contract name is the name that matters.
| Name | What it is |
|---|---|
| Handle CRM | The dealer sales follow-up product |
| CustomerTRAX | The customer-data product Handle is tied to |
| Texada | The company that now owns the family |
| handle.com | A different company in construction payments — not this product |
