Handle CRM and quoting: where the quote lives

How quotes connect to follow-up in Handle CRM, what clean quote data does for financing, and what to test.

The quote is a follow-up trigger

In a follow-up CRM, a quote is not just a price. It is the start of a clock. Every day a quote sits without a call, the deal cools. Ask how Handle tracks quoted deals: can you see every open quote, its age, and its next step?

Where the quote is built

Handle is a follow-up tool, not a quoting engine. Your quote is probably built in your DMS or a quoting tool, and the CRM tracks the chase afterward. Ask exactly how quote details reach the Handle record: typed, imported, or connected. The answer decides whether your data stays clean.

Where financing fits

A funding firm wants the year, model, hours, serial number, and price. If those fields travel with the deal in the CRM, the financing handoff is clean. If they live in a PDF on someone's desk, they get re-typed, and re-typed numbers go wrong.

What to test in the demo

  • See every open quote with its age.
  • Log a follow-up call against a specific quote.
  • See the machine details on the deal record.
  • Flag a deal as needing financing.
  • Find what happened to last month's lost quotes.

A worked task: the quote-age list

Suggested demo test: show every open quote sorted by age, oldest first. Inputs: your current open quotes. Expected output: the stale ones at the top, with the rep's name and the next step. The exception to settle first: where quotes are born. Handle tracks the chase, but your quote is probably built in the DMS, so ask how quote details reach the record. Typed-in details drift; connected details stay true.

Do this week

Count your quotes older than seven days with no logged contact. That count is the number this kind of tool exists to shrink.
