Support and training

DIS Quantum support and training: what is published

What DIS publishes about support and training, what is unconfirmed, and the support questions to ask before signing.

Based on public product documentation. We have not tested a private account. Sources checked 2026-11-05. Product names belong to their owners; this is an independent guide, not an endorsement.

What is public

DIS runs a user conference (Toronto 2027 was announced on its site) and publishes customer stories, which shows an active user community. What we could not confirm from public pages on 2026-11-05: staffed support hours, response time promises, and how training is priced. Unconfirmed means we do not know, not that it is bad.

Portal access is not staffed support

A help portal is a library. Staffed support is a person who answers. DIS publishes customer stories and a user conference, but public pages do not state staffed hours, so ask which you get, when, and how fast. Know which one you are buying.

Training questions that matter

  • Is training on site, remote, or both?
  • Is training priced by day, by person, or included?
  • Do new hires later get training, or only the first group?
  • Is there a practice copy of the system?
  • Who do we call in week one after go-live?

The reference check

DIS publishes customer stories from real dealerships. Ask for two references near your size and call them. Ask one question: when something breaks on a busy Monday, what happens? The answer tells you more than any brochure.

Write it into the deal

Support hours, channels, response targets, and training days belong in the contract, and so does conference or training-event pricing if you plan to use it. Friendly promises in a demo are not a contract.

A worked task: use the user conference as a signal

DIS announced a 2027 user conference in Toronto on its public site, which means there is a community you can learn from. Suggested exercise: ask the vendor whether your team can attend before or right after go-live, and what it costs. Expected output: a training channel beyond the onboarding sessions. The exception to check: timing. A conference in your busy season helps nobody, so weigh it against your calendar, not just the brochure.

Do this week

Ask two DIS reference dealers the Monday question: something broke on a busy morning, what happened? Write down who answered and how fast.
