Flyntlok rental management

What Flyntlok offers rental operations: contracts, utilization, and how rental connects to service and the books.

Based on public product documentation. We have not tested a private account. Sources checked 2026-11-05. Product names belong to their owners; this is an independent guide, not an endorsement.

Rental is a second business

Every rental unit needs a rate, a contract, an inspection out and back, service between rents, and a bill. Flyntlok's public pages include rental in the dealer system, and its customer stories include dealers with rental operations. The value is in the ties: a return can trigger an inspection work order, and the bill lands in the same books.

What to test in the demo

  • Rate setup: day, week, month, and overtime rules.
  • Contract printing or e-sign from the rental screen.
  • Out and back inspections with photos.
  • Service scheduling between rentals.
  • Utilization report: days rented versus days sitting.

The payback math

Rental tools pay back when they cut idle days, missed late fees, and damage you could not prove. Use the tool below: one-time setup cost, monthly savings you expect, and any added monthly cost. If savings do not beat the added cost, the honest answer is: not yet.

Honest limit

Public pages list rental as part of the system but do not detail every rental feature. Ask to see your exact rental workflow live, end to end, before you sign.

A worked task: the return-to-invoice chain

Suggested demo test: check a rental unit back in with damage, and follow the charge to the invoice. Inputs: one unit, one damage photo. Expected output: inspection, repair ticket, and damage bill all tied to the same contract. The exception to ask about: disputes. When the customer says the damage was already there, can you pull the out-inspection photos from the same record? That moment is where rental systems pay for themselves.

Do this week

Total the damage charges you wrote off last quarter because there was no photo proof. That write-off number is the business case for inspection photos on every return.

Rental numbers every dealer should watch.
