Follow-up inside the DMS
When follow-up lives inside the same system as your units and invoices, the rep sees the whole customer: what they bought, what they were quoted, and what they owe. That is the promise of CRM inside a DMS. Ask Flyntlok to show you the customer record and the follow-up list live, with your own examples.
What to check in the demo
- One screen with units owned, quotes, and balance.
- A follow-up list: quotes with no call in 7 days.
- Log a call from a phone in the yard.
- Build a list from purchase history, like everyone who bought a mower three-plus years ago.
- See which leads were never touched.
A follow-up what-if
Use the tool below with your own numbers: leads per month, a small lift in conversion, average gross profit per deal, and the monthly software cost. If steadier follow-up won even one extra deal a month, what is that worth? It is a what-if, not a promise. The system keeps the list; your reps still make the calls.
Honest limit
Public pages do not detail every CRM feature. If follow-up is your main reason to buy, ask whether the CRM tools are standard or an extra module, and compare against the specialist CRMs on this site.
A worked task: the whole-customer screen
Suggested demo test: pull up one of your best customers and count the clicks to see everything — units, quotes, service history, balance. Inputs: one real customer. Expected output: one screen or very few. The exception to ask about: whether the CRM tools are standard or an extra module. If follow-up is your main reason to buy, that answer decides whether this quote or a specialist CRM is the better spend.
Do this week
Ask your reps where customer notes live today. Every notebook and inbox you find is a place follow-up currently goes to die.
| List | Why it works |
|---|---|
| Old quotes, no contact | Buyers waiting on an answer |
| New leads, no first call | Speed wins deals |
| Sold 30 days ago | Catch problems early, earn reviews |
| Past due for upgrade | Their machine is aging out |
| Service-only customers | They trust you, but never bought |
Follow-up what-if tool
A what-if scenario, not a promise. Better follow-up may not cause more sales. Entered numbers only; illustrative defaults.
| Extra deals per month (scenario) | 1.0 |
| Gross profit from those deals | $2,000 |
| Net after software cost | $1,500 |
