What is public
c-Systems publishes its support hours on its contact page: Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 5:30pm CST, and Saturday 8:00am to 1:00pm CST. We checked this on 2026-11-05. Published hours are more than most vendors share. Confirm they are still current when you sign. There is also a customer portal at customer.csystemssoftware.com.
Why Saturday hours matter for OPE
OPE stores live and die by Saturday. A vendor whose support works Saturday morning understands your business. One who only works weekdays does not. The published Saturday hours are a genuinely good sign for this industry.
Portal access is not staffed support
The customer portal at customer.csystemssoftware.com is a library and account area. Staffed support is a person who answers, and c-Systems publishes hours for the staffed kind, which is more than most vendors share. Still ask: what counts as an emergency, and what happens outside the published hours?
Training questions that matter
- Is training on site, remote, or both?
- Is training priced by day, by person, or included?
- Do new hires later get training, or only the first group?
- Is there a practice copy of the system?
- Who do we call in week one after go-live?
Write it into the deal
Support hours, channels, response targets, and training days belong in the contract. The published hours are a good starting point, but your contract is the promise — and it should match the hours your store actually keeps, in your time zone.
A worked task: plan around the published hours
c-Systems publishes support hours: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm CST, Saturday 8am to 1pm CST, checked 2026-11-05. Suggested exercise: map those hours against your store's week. One thing to ask: whether the vendor's CST label observes daylight saving time, since the offset to your local time shifts by an hour part of the year. Expected output: a coverage plan — which problems can wait and which cannot. The exception to handle: confirm the hours are still current when you sign, and ask what happens outside them, because published hours are a starting point and your contract is the promise.
